Today, we will be discussing on metals. Below are the vignettes which you have seen in class.
You may watch the videos again and also view the online Resources provided. After which, you are required to be in your groups of 4 and make a blog posting with regards to the vignette that your group is assigned to:
Blog Activity:
In that blog posting, you are required to include the following:-
- Discuss the relevance of whether the item in the vignette contains Group I elements.
- Explain the reactivity of Group I elements and its trend according to its atomic structure.
- State and Explain why there's a contradiction involved with the vignette and what you have learnt.
- State the differences between the general properties of Group I metal and relate it to the uses of the item.
**Each student is required to research on one of the above points and collate them together in a single blog posting.
